We asked Azeem Azhar from Exponential View to speak with executive leaders from all industries to gather their perspectives on what the next few years of AI innovation may bring.
What’s next for AI?
AI has the power to transform businesses today. But what AI innovations will we see in the next few years? Industry leaders shared their thoughts with us:
- Generative AI will allow you to test messages and products against customer simulations and see how they perform. The difficult — and critical — part will be knowing what data you need to accurately represent your audiences.
- We’ll see more specialist AI systems that can take on specific roles and supercharge our ability to get things done.
- We’re not far from using large action models in consumer applications, which can streamline time-consuming personal tasks (e.g., online comparison shopping) by immediately surfacing precise information.
- We’ll be able to apply reasoning and learning to AI to move from abstract ideas to action. It will streamline time-consuming tasks and then give the output to humans for creative problem-solving with a personal touch.

Generative AI not only gives the ability to create content but to represent how people perceive content.
